Par 3 Golf Course Voted Top 2 Short Course in America by Golf Advisor

Lake Geneva, WI — (November 2, 2016): Hawk’s View Golf Club in Lake Geneva proudly announces Golf Advisor has named the Barn Hollow par 3 golf course as the second best short course in America.  Golf Advisor recently compiled data on the Top 25 short courses in the United States heavily taking fan / golfer comments over nearly five years into consideration.

Barn Hollow, an 18-hole Par 3 golf course, plays 2,708 yards with some of the most beautiful and panoramic views in the nation.   The course is dotted with an 90-year old historic barn, native prairies, and award winning landscape featuring flowers, water features, and a variety of trees.

Holes range from 109 to 222 yards. Barn Hollow’s signature hole is #9, which measures 188 yards from the 40 foot elevated back tees with a breathtaking view. This hole features a water hazard lining the left side of the hole and trees on the right, making an accurate tee shot critical.

“We have had some amazing things happen on Barn Hollow over the years including over 60 hole-in-ones,” says Matt Boesch, PGA Head Golf Professional at Hawk’s View Golf Club.  “One of the most memorable was by a 12-year old girl taking her very first golf shot ever. Experiences like that are priceless.  We celebrate special moments like that just as much as our golfers do.  We added her name to a plaque on our clubhouse wall.”
